Through several design processes, they will develop the ability to conceptualize, take into account target market, stakeholders, differing media forms, contexts of communication and evaluation.

Visual skills will be augmented with verbal skills in the form of verbal presentations. Skills in critical thinking will be stressed through discourses of contemporary design issues, the range of design disciplines and regional and international design contexts.
