I am not a verbal person in speech. Discussing the gossip of newspapers and television are not what I do best. As it currently stands, my forte lacks a social interaction. Archiving moments, reading books, and long solitary walks among the populace are my hobbies. The act of listening and memorizing are where I excell, in paying the greatest compliment of being attentive. Those who know me best would describe my memories as a trove of bullet point lists.
These photographs are a visual record of the past 6 months. I hope you enjoy reliving these memories as much as I did in their creation. I shall never forget what has occurred before, (for) those who cannot remember the past, are condemned to repeat it.
January was studious.
The new year of 2011 began with a series of colds. I erred in assuming that the cafeteria food and denser student population of the winter semester, was to blame. However, it was in fact a response of physical fatigue and mental stress to a heavier academic workload. Not only was the subject unfamiliar, but also relied on a frame of logic-based thinking instead of the free-thinking abstract notions of philosophy and literature.
Over the course of a month, I paid an occasional visit to the ornament-heavy buddhist temples of Richmond, faithfully attended two photowalks with Kris Mohoruk and Rob, explored the ho-hum cottage locale of Point Roberts, renewed interest in Steampunk, received a postcard from Yuki Nakano in Australia, casually observed the Blenz Red Band launch party, shared a brief dinner with close friends, and resolved a long-standing disagreement with confidante and friend. One of my favorite aspects of a new year’s celebrations is the blank pages of a new agenda, chronicling yet-unknown events and fruition of goals, dreams and ambitions

Hey you, great recap! Love the pictures of the Nitobi Gardens.
I’m sorry I wrecked your food shots with my pudgy hand.
