• Shopping for steampunk,
• Visited a “Miniature China” ceramics exhibition at Aberdeen Centre
• White Rock photowalks
• Celebrating Faruk’s housewarming party and meeting his notorious felines
• reading 2001: A Space Odyssey (based on the film)
• catching up with SIAT friends at Central City Brewing for beer
• met my amazing boyfriend <3

 

August

• Photowalks in Chinatown with Laurice, Steveston with Rob
• researching the Wizard of Oz series
• gardening, studying for exams, drinking coffee*

September

• Birthday month yay
• spending a lot of time in the garden, visiting new restaurants and bookstores with the boyfriend
• photowalk with Rob at a secret bridge
• shopping for autumn-winter birthday fashion, self-birthday gifts
• sending a Capybara (x2!) to Amber in Portland (via Jason)

October

• all shopping inventory, bright wintergrren colours and cozy leather shoes to brave the rain and snow
• Favorite FOX canvas backpack
• brief photowalks in the colorful autumn afternoons

November

• Splashing in the rain, studying on campus, watching winter-Christmas fast approaching
• organizing my closet before purging most of my wardrobe
• leafy photowalks and stocking up on shopping totes

December

• almost-last semester of my academic career
• beginning a new job in Gastown
• photowalks in the surprise snowfall around the city, Canada Place at night
