I attended Langara College with a focus on art history and literature, before continuing my studies at Simon Fraser University in Interaction Design, Linguistics and Literature.
I was first introduced to design principles and practices in 2007 and 2008, where I was a runner-up winner for a snowboard design contest for the Web Directions North Conference.
This conference is now an bi-annual event that covers the full range of interests for web professionals: web design standards, front-end and back-end development, information architecture, interaction design, accessibility and data visualization.
