The Delirious World Of Anime + Comics + Video Games + Art is the “first exhibition of its kind, a groundbreaking project that offers unique and dynamic insight into the world of comics,animated cartoons, anime, manga, graphic novels, computer/video games and visual art.”

The show premiered in Vancouver at the Vancouver Art Gallery. There’s a more informative article at DesignBoom but my thoughts are listed below.
- video games and televisions like building blocks on the floor of one room
- cinematic movie playing AKIRA projected on four giant walls
- bookcases of manga dated pre-80’s
- several hallways with cowboy bebop discs and soundtracks playing
- more mini movies and episodes playing in yet another
- a giant dolls head in another room shared with
- the stunning visual animation Chiho Aoshima’s artwork
- mini rooms dedicated to rising and fore-runners of today’s rich comic history
- and a giant “giftshop” filled with.. TOYS TOYS TOYS !!
Kodak Instamatic Camera

Today I stopped by Value Village and found a really old film camera; the Kodak (made in Canada!) Instamtic 124. Still not sure where the battery is supposed to be and apparently it originally used 126mm film but I’ve found a couple sites online that can help you mod it to the regular 35mm format, so hopefully sometime this summer I can start using it. Yikes! My camera habit/collection is growing XD
