Today we met for cameras, photos, and a coffee; standard fare for two impish photographers high on life and filled with energy. The rainy afternoon made no difference to the quantity being produced, soft cloudy days creates a natural diffusion of light on its subject below and surrounding environments, and digital exposure knows no bounds. An umbrella for shelter, a caffeine drink in hand, and comfortable sneakers, knows no bounds for explorations.
I played with a pinhole camera, holga-esque, that allows the light exposure onto the film to be carefully balanced by incorrect shutter speed and a shaky hand movement. At best, the digital camera made an appearance after several modeling and impromptu photoshoot (is there any other kind?) before the noisy combination of a large crowd of men, pot, and bicycles drove us away.
On a last note, cheese cakes, especially the mocha variety, devoured at Waves coffee shops are best known for their decadence and evil-yet tempting dessert perfection. T_T

Somewhere a long time ago there was once written prose that escaped into the webosphere, with a literature and language hitherto unknown that had perhaps appeared before in different shapes and forms. In the past two years, the choice was to experience life to its fullest and learn about design, without any documentation.
I am almost twenty-two now, Jen nee operaglasses and Rowan of catharsis have left the internet to pursue other worlds to conquer, my inspirations for the prose that once scattered through the forefront mind, so I shall try once again and write with both design, photography, and poetry en medias res. (the archives shall slowly be returning to public viewing shortly)

While running up the stairs at the skytrain station today, there was a happenstance moment when I realized that for the normal flow of movement to continue uninterrupted on the steps the busybody strangers must walk upwards/downwards to their right position, leaving the left space open for others.
Why was that, exactly? Is it a rather unusual norm of synchronicity that we learnt as a child, or the biased advantages of our regular right-hand society? There was also the random thought of subconscious desires of having a solid barrier or obstruction between others on one side and ourselves on the other. That truly is a design of the mind and social cultural conditioning that is a part of western culture..
Or, you know, everybody is like me and has this insanely ridiculous fear of heights

Harhar.. since my bestfriend left for a summer in Italy my single time has been spent wandering the city for cute stuff.. and shopping!

There’s enough money in the bank (I save half my paycheque bi-weekly) but from my accounts book it seems I’m spending too much moolah on food and coffee D:
Uusally I don’t enjoy shopping very often unless I need something, but more recently I’ve been shopping local fashion stores on main street, downtown, and commercial drive (I always GO there but never buy anything). Almost all of the postcards are free from artshows and live events and the latest shopping is usually on sale
No more spending for a while, not until I visit California anyways
